At Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur, this balance was especially important during the renovation of one of their multipurpose meeting halls—a space designed to accommodate up to 200 pax for meetings, training sessions, and corporate events. The brief was clear and uncompromising: the sound system had to deliver clear, even speech coverage, but no loudspeakers were to be visible.
This unique requirement presented a significant design challenge. Traditional wall‑mounted or surface‑installed loudspeakers were simply not an option, yet the system still needed to meet professional standards for speech intelligibility across the entire room. Integrasi Bronte Sdn. Bhd. was tasked with designing and delivering an audio solution that would meet both the acoustic and architectural expectations of a five‑star hotel environment.
After careful evaluation of the space and its intended use, a discreet ceiling‑based solution was proposed. The design centred around Lynx Pro Audio IXP‑6 high‑power ceiling loudspeakers, a model well suited for demanding hotel audio and corporate environments. A total of 12 units of IXP‑6 were deployed throughout the hall, allowing sound to be evenly distributed while remaining completely hidden from view.
Despite their compact and unobtrusive form factor, the IXP‑6 loudspeakers deliver impressive clarity and output, making them ideal for speech‑focused applications such as meetings, conferences, and training sessions. By carefully spacing and tuning each unit, the system achieves consistent coverage across the entire hall, ensuring that every attendee can hear clearly—whether seated at the front, centre, or rear of the room.
The end result is a sound system that seamlessly blends into the architectural design of the hall. Guests and users experience clean, intelligible audio without ever seeing a single loudspeaker, preserving the refined visual aesthetic that Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur is known for.
