Modern youth worship environments demand more than just loud sound. They require a system that can deliver clarity, punch, and an immersive experience that matches the energy on stage while keeping the message clear and engaging. This was the vision behind the recent sound system upgrade at Full Gospel Assembly (FGA) KL, Level 5, a space dedicated to the FGA Chinese Youth Ministry.
Level 5 is designed for high‑impact, contemporary worship, where dynamic music, expressive vocals, and audience engagement play a central role. To support this style of ministry, the audio system needed to deliver consistent coverage, powerful low‑end energy, and excellent intelligibility across the entire venue. After careful evaluation, Integrasi Bronte Sdn. Bhd. proposed a professional line array solution from Meyer Sound Laboratories, a brand globally recognised for premium performance and reliability.
As the main sound system, a six‑per‑side Meyer Sound LINA line array was installed. The LINA system was chosen for its compact size, controlled coverage, and ability to scale, making it well suited for this worship space. It delivers focused, even sound throughout the hall, ensuring that both worship music and spoken segments translate clearly and naturally to the congregation.
To enhance clarity and presence in the centre seating area, a Meyer Sound UPQ‑1P loudspeaker was deployed as a centre fill. This addition ensures consistent tonal balance and vocal definition for listeners seated directly in front of the stage, bridging the gap between the left and right line arrays and creating a more cohesive listening experience.
Low‑frequency performance was a critical element of the system, given the modern worship style. To achieve this, two Meyer Sound LFC‑900 subwoofers were flown, allowing for tight and controlled bass integration with the main arrays. In addition, a single LFC‑2100 subwoofer was placed on the floor to provide extra low‑end impact, delivering the depth and physical energy that contemporary worship music demands.
Sound coverage beyond the main floor area was also carefully addressed. To ensure clarity under balconies and in upper seating areas, Lynx Pro Audio HR208 loudspeakers were used for front fills, under‑balcony coverage, and upper‑balcony delays. These compact yet powerful loudspeakers blend seamlessly with the main Meyer Sound system, maintaining consistent sound quality across every listening position.
The result is a powerful and balanced sound system that supports energetic worship while preserving clarity and control. Since commissioning, the system has performed reliably and consistently, and the feedback from the church team has been overwhelmingly positive. The improved impact, even coverage, and musicality have elevated the worship experience for both the congregation and the ministry team.
